The Ghosts of Justice [PDF]

Using the supplementary resources of mythology, psychology, and the poetry of Trakl, this work offers a deconstructive reading of Jaques Derrida's relation to the other founder-practitioner of de(con)struction, Martin Heidegger.

Taking its clue from the phrase "deconstruction is justice" this text explores the relation between the two founder-practitioners of de(con)struction, Martin Heidegger and Jacques Derrida. The reading explores the complicity between good and evil and tells of the tragedy that results when, in the course of serving the cause of justice, the practioner is simultaneously destined to doing injustice. "Contamination is the rule."
